Finance and Economics Scholarships
Gary W. Rollins College of Business scholarship recipients will be selected in the spring semester and the awards are effective the following fall semester.
Scholarships shall be open to all applicants regardless of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, citizenship, disability, age, or veteran status and are subject to the individual scholarship criteria.
ACA Performance Services Scholarship
Open to sophomores, juniors and seniors.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Major in Finance.
- The applicant must have a minimum grade point average of 3.25 in their major course of study and a 3.0 grade point average overall.
- Have majority of coursework completed at UTC.
The SunTrust Foundation Endowed Scholarship
Open to sophomores, juniors and seniors.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Major in Finance.
- Demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and must continue to demonstrate successful academic performance.
Preference will be given to female applicants.
Barbara McLain Walker Endowed Scholarship
Only open to juniors.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Major in Finance.
- Strong academic performance.
Financial Executives International Scholarship for a Female Student in Economics or Finance
Open to sophomores and juniors.
Female applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Major in either Economics or Finance.
- Have a minimum 3.25 GPA in your major course of study and a 3.0 overall GPA.
- Have majority of coursework completed at UTC.
The Trust Company of Tennessee Scholarship for a Female Student in Economics or Finance
Open to sophomores and juniors.
Female applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Major in either Economics or Finance.
- Have a minimum 3.25 GPA in your major course of study and a 3.0 overall GPA.
- Have majority of coursework completed at UTC.
Ziad Keilany Scholarship in Economics
Open to juniors and seniors.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Major in Economics.
- Have a successful academic performance with an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Amartya Sen Scholarship
Open to juniors and seniors.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Major in Economics.
- Have an overall 3.0 GPA by the end of Sophomore year (60 credit hours).
- Preference will be given to those who demonstrate financial need.
- Preference will be given to previous Amartya Jen scholarship recipients, as long as required criteria is maintained.
