Option One: Come See Us!
CECS is proud to showcase the opportunities found in Engineering and Computer Science. Welcoming school groups to the Engineering and Computer Science (ECS) building on UTC’s campus allows younger students to conceptualize not only the college experience, but the particularly challenging and exciting Engineering and Computer Science college experience. Option Two: CECS Comes to You!
CECS is very active in the region, visiting with elementary, 中间, 高中 , and community college students to encourage individuals to embrace STEM. Our Outreach Coordinator and the team of Student Ambassadors are deeply invested in growing the next generation of engineers and computer scientists. - NSBE ACT Review Workshop

The Chattanooga Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers sponsors an ACT preparation workshop for area 高中 students usually in Fall and again in Spring. NSBE members and CECS faculty members volunteer to teach sessions on both test content and strategies, afterward taking a sample ACT test.
自2010年以来, the UTC NSBE chapter has sponsored semi-annual ACT workshops for area 高中 sophomores, 初中, 和老年人, as part of the chapter’s community service commitment. The collegiate membership in NSBE is open to any undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in science, 技术, 工程, 或数学.
