总理's Innovation Fund

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga is committed to providing an excellent educational experience built on a culture of innovation and leading transformational change that benefits our community, 国家, the nation and the world.

The 总理’s Innovation Fund is a resource to incentivize and spur further innovation by financially supporting proposals for novel approaches to achieving a stated objective or objectives in one of four strategic focus areas:

• Creating the Mocs Experience—Enabling students, faculty and staff to succeed and thrive
• Leveraging Our Special Place as Chattanooga’s University—Serving our community while creating opportunity for our students and graduates
• Cultivating a Culture of Innovation—Leading change that puts novel ideas into action
• Operating with Excellence—Raising the bar to being better every day 

Each proposal will be evaluated to determine which of two innovation tracks it applies to:

• Operational efficiency
• New opportunity

• Estimated 时间轴 (majority of work should be completed by May 2025)

• Benefit to UTC/community

资格

Participation in the Innovation Fund is open to all UTC faculty and staff.

评审过程

A yearly call for proposal submissions begins in 2024 with proposals due by 5 p.m. 2月. 15.

Proposals will be reviewed by a representative group of staff and faculty. Decisions and 奖 will be made by March 31.

A successful proposal may be awarded up to a maximum of $15,000 in one-time funding.
